How the clean static website handles information when you browse or prepare a direct booking enquiry.
1. Website scope
This website is a static public information site for Jimi’s Boat Taxi & Tours. At launch it has no WordPress database, user accounts, online cart, payment processor, analytics tag or advertising tracker.
2. Information you choose to provide
The booking form validates the fields in your browser and, unless a vetted form endpoint is configured later, opens your own email application with the details you entered. Your name, email, phone number, date, guest count, pickup information and message are sent only when you choose to send that email.
Do not include card numbers, passport numbers, medical records or other sensitive data in the enquiry form.
3. Hosting logs
The hosting provider may process standard security and access logs, such as an IP address, requested URL, browser type, date and time. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider and server configuration.
4. Cookies and local storage
The static site does not intentionally set non-essential cookies or store tracking identifiers. If a hosted form, analytics or other third-party service is added later, this policy and any consent controls should be updated before activation.
5. How enquiry information is used
Information sent by email may be used to answer questions, prepare a quote, coordinate a tour or transfer, confirm a reservation, communicate operational updates and maintain necessary business records.
6. Sharing and retention
Enquiry information should be shared only with service providers needed to fulfil the request or when legally required. Retention should be limited to the time needed for the booking, recordkeeping, dispute resolution and legal obligations.
7. External services
If a secure hosted form endpoint or payment provider is introduced, that provider will process information under its own privacy terms. The website should identify the provider before the integration is enabled.
8. Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of enquiry information where applicable by contacting Jimi’s. Some records may need to be retained for legal, tax, safety or dispute purposes.
